Brad Fry


Brad joined McElroys in May 2022 from a building defects and commercial litigation firm in Auckland. He has previously spent time representing litigants in the Waitangi Tribunal for a range of complex claims.

Since joining McElroys Brad has gained experience in a number of different practice areas including: formulating advice for marine matters, real estate disputes, employment claims involving personal grievances, and claims bought before both the District Court and Tribunals.

Brad’s background is in accounting and operations management. Brad made a start in law later in life after successfully completing a Master of Laws (Juris Doctor) at Monash University, Melbourne. He also holds a Master of Business from the Melbourne Business School and utilises his background in business to assist clients to reach pragmatic and commercially orientated outcomes.

Outside of work Brad is an avid netballer, he regularly competes and umpires in competitions and tournaments around New Zealand. He also enjoys exploring Auckland dog friendly trails with his dog Jake.
