Miranda Braddock

Miranda is experienced in civil litigation and employment disputes. She joined McElroys in 2020 after returning from London where she worked in-house for a trade union doing class-action litigation, and for the UK Government’s legal advisors defending judicial review claims and statutory appeals. Prior to that, Miranda worked in a Tauranga firm acting on large civil litigation and employment matters. She has appeared in the High Court, District Court and Employment Court of New Zealand, and attended investigation meetings in the Employment Relations Authority.

Miranda takes a strategic and practical approach to disputes. She has a strong interest in both formal litigation and alternative dispute resolution, and how they can best be utilised to achieve key outcomes and positive results for her clients.
